Events

I really enjoy creating spaces where people can come together and connect, both personally and professionally. Whether it's through meaningful conversations, shared meals, or common values, I believe in the power of bringing people together. These moments foster understanding, build relationships, and create a sense of belonging. Whether I’m organizing a gathering, facilitating discussions, or simply sharing a meal with others, I find joy in creating opportunities for connection and community.

A Galentines Event

Coming out of the COVID fog, I realized that for many in our community, their only visits to the hospital in recent years had been for difficult reasons—caring for struggling loved ones, facing their own health challenges, or bravely getting a COVID-19 vaccine. I wanted to change that by giving people a joyful reason to step onto our campus. The event needed to blend fun and wellness, so I brought together our clinics and partnered with local women-owned businesses to create something special. Despite a snowstorm dampening attendance, year one showed promise. Year two was an incredible success, with more attendees, businesses, and an atmosphere full of music, food, friendship, health resources, giveaways, and custom tote bags. Now, as we gear up for year three, it’s shaping up to be our best yet!

Annual Health Care Golf Classic

When leadership turnover left a gap in organizing the annual Health Care Golf Classic, I stepped up to ensure the event continued to support its beneficiaries—the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center and the Healthy Community Coalition. Traditionally led by the Healthy Community Coalition, the event was at risk of falling through as its key organizers departed. As the date approached, it became clear that no one was taking the lead, so I assembled a committee with historical knowledge of the event and got to work. Despite having no prior experience with golf, I successfully revamped the fundraiser, managing all aspects, including organization, contracts, sponsorship outreach, player recruitment, advertising, swag ordering, catering, day-of logistics, and post-event follow-up. I continued leading the event for another year before bringing on a co-chair to gradually transition responsibilities. Under this renewed leadership, the Golf Classic has continued to grow, becoming more successful year after year.
