Internal communications

I’m an experienced internal communications leader skilled at meeting teams where they are with clear, concise, and effective messaging. I leverage a variety of channels—including screen savers, posters, emails, the intranet, What You Need to Know weekly one-pagers, town halls, magazines, and newsletters—to share important news, updates, changes, and celebrations. My approach brings critical information to internal audiences in a timely and engaging way.

InTRanet

The intranet serves as a central hub for internal communication, keeping employees informed about news, upcoming changes, events, and celebrations. By providing a consistent and accessible platform for updates, it ensures that important information reaches the right audience while also encouraging engagement and collaboration across the organization.

  • I recently transitioned the organizations intranet from one platform, to a newer, more user friendly platform. I met with key stakeholders to determine needs and organized an entirely new site to better help care team members find the info most important to them.

presentations

Town hall presentations are a powerful tool for interactive, bidirectional internal communication. They provide a platform for leadership to share key updates while creating space for employees to ask questions, share feedback, and engage in open dialogue. By fostering transparency, town halls and similar presentations help build trust, alignment, and a stronger organizational culture.

  • I currently support a monthly, virtual town hall for the president of the organization.

  • I supported the creation of an informative presentation on the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine for both internal and external audiences. Led by a physician, the presentation provided clear, evidence-based information, addressed common concerns, and explained the science behind the vaccine.
